Join us from 29 Sept – 1 Oct 2017 at Riverdale in the beautiful Yarra Valley and emerge in to spring! Be grounded by yoga, express yourself with dance and let your soul come alive with our creative sessions. This is a time for you to relax, learn, be joyful, share and recharge.

Retreat Venue

Our rejuvenating Spring retreat will be held at Riverdale in the Yarra Valley. The Accommodation & Retreat spaces are surrounded by stunning gardens, fields and river walks. Riverdale is a unique place with the property being completely “Off the Grid” and the gardens being biodynamic! You can experience the magic of Solar power and enjoy the amazingly flavourful fruits and vegetables grown on site.

Retreat Accommodation

There are different accommodation options at Riverdale. Choose from a fully self contained cottage which sleeps 2 or pick one of the rooms in the spacious, cosy, fully equipped house. Room options include Double (or Single), Twin (share with 1 other) and Quad (share with 3 others). The house features a large lounge and dining area with a wood burning stove and has gorgeous bamboo floorboards throughout.

Retreat Activities

During the retreat we will follow a program which includes yoga, dance and creative sessions all  planned specially around the theme of “Emerging in to Spring” and taught by our experienced and insightful facilitators. There will also be time to relax, to explore the lush surrounds and to connect with fellow participants.

Margaret Ferla

With 50 years of Yoga experience, Margaret translates her passion and vibrancy for life through her classes, retreats and tours. Bringing traditional Yogic practices and philosophies together in our modern age to foster a love of self and love of life. Her unique and intuitive teaching has been born from a lifetime of interactions, study, observation and reflection to bring the transformational gifts of Yoga to you. Margaret is a graduate of the CAE Advanced Diploma of Yoga Teaching and is a member of Yoga Australia.

Sky Blue

Sky is an experienced event  & festival organiser and has more then 15 years dance teaching experience. She is a patient and encouraging teacher with expertise in teaching body movement and rhythm. She is a master at breaking down steps so that they are easy to understand and quick to learn and she believes that “anyone can dance”. Sky also practices yoga, pilates and body balance and lives a healthy lifestyle. Sky is passionate about the world of dance, has a zest for life, loves to travel, loves nature and loves to connect with like minded people. On her retreats, Sky aims to inspire her clients to express themselves  by feeling and moving to the music, as well as to experience the connectedness between the body and the mind.

Helen Sawyer

With a Masters degree in Creative Arts Therapy, Helen has worked with a variety of clients over the years. She has great empathy for people and her clients describe her as being kind, caring and intuitive. Helen has facilitated group therapy programs at a private hospital, which caters for the mental health sector, for the past 10 years. She has experience in painting. drawing, crafts, ceramics, dance, yoga, meditation and more. Helen brings her love for people and her appreciation for the beauty of life in to her nurturing creative sessions.

Catering

Delicious meals will be prepared specially by Emily Christina Bell, an intuitive chef who is passionate about making wholesome, colourful food and uses locally sourced organic produce. Get ready for a weekend of scrumptious feasting.
